Founded in 2021 by curators Sophia Olver and Henry Hussey, OHSH Projects moves between spaces, sites and contexts to produce exhibitions shaped by the relationships between artists, ideas and place.

Rather than operating from a fixed gallery, OHSH takes on different forms, working across galleries, historic buildings, repurposed industrial spaces and partner institutions. The places in which we work often become part of the exhibition itself, their histories, architecture and previous uses informing the ideas and relationships within it.

Our programme looks at how ideas, images and symbols persist, mutate and reappear across time. We move freely between ancient mythology and contemporary technology, ritual and popular culture, archaeology and imagined futures, looking for unexpected connections between them.

OHSH Projects brings together artists across generations and disciplines, creating conversations through proximity, material and association. Rather than illustrating a fixed theme, our exhibitions build constellations of works through which ideas can be tested, complicated and reimagined.

Alongside our curated programme, the annual South Open creates a recurring platform for artists connected to South London, reflecting OHSH's commitment to supporting artistic communities as well as producing exhibitions.
